Summary
Listen2Words is an English listening-practice app. The app does not require an account and does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking. The developer does not collect, receive, sell, or use personal information through the app for advertising or profiling.
Information stored on your device
The app stores practice attempts, response times, progress, and listening completion locally on your device. This information is used only to provide listening, testing, and progress features.
The developer does not receive this information from the app.
Depending on your Apple backup settings, local history may be included in a device or iCloud backup. The bundled exercise package is part of the app itself and is not included in your backup. The developer does not receive your backup contents.
Purchases
Apple's StoreKit service provides product information and processes the 18 optional individual sound-pair purchases. Each is a separate one-time purchase that unlocks the additional word pairs and mixed tests in its named sound-pair group; there is no bundle purchase. Apple handles payment information. Listen2Words receives only the product and entitlement information needed to unlock or restore purchased content. Apple's handling of App Store transactions is governed by Apple's policies.
Data retention and deletion
Local records remain in the app container until you delete the app. Deleting the app removes information in its local app container. Copies retained in backups remain subject to Apple's deletion and retention controls.
Apple manages App Store purchase records separately. Deleting Listen2Words does not delete records maintained by Apple.
Security
Listen2Words relies on Apple's app sandbox for its local files. No storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's privacy
Listen2Words does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users. The app is not designated for the App Store Kids Category.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated. The effective date above will also be revised.
